We passed by Place Maubert and browsed the Farmer's Market held at this location during our recent visit to Paris. This is a nice open market with stalls setup to sell fruit and vegetable produce, fish, meats, cheeses, sundries and flowers. It is fairly typical...More

This neighborhood market is a REAL market, full of tantalizing products. The vendors are helpful and nice. We found all the produce to be wonderful, beautifully displayed. And the cheeses ! Walking around this market is very enjoyable, even in the rain.

Loved this market. Seems like it is geared to locals. Wonderful fruit, cheese and it has the bakery that won the Best Croissant of 2018. I purchased some beautiful cashmere scarfs and leather bags. Open on Tues, Thurs and Saturdays.

Great little market in the Latin Quarter right next to the Maubert Mutualite metro. The food is sensational-just wish we’d had an apartment so we could’ve cooked some if it. Lovely scarves and gloves-all sorts of interesting bits and pieces. It’s held Tues/Thurs and Saturday:))

There are larger outdoor markets in Paris but probably not one that has higher quality vendors. Among the permanent shops is arguably the best boulangerie in Paris and a very good fromagerie.

We like to stay on the Left Bank when visiting Paris, mostly in apartments. Don’t do a lot of cooking- prefer ‘assemblages’ from the local markets. M-M market is one of our regular stops, along with Place Monge. It’s small, but you can find quality...More

Most areas of Paris have their own outdoor markets and this is one set in the middle of the old university quarter. Good produce and other stuff found here. Traditional.

The market is mice but less attractive than other markets I've visited. If you are in the neighborhood you can visit.

This small, three-days-a-week street market stands in the Latin Quarter and started operating in 1547, making it the oldest in Paris. Whenever I stay in the vicinity, I like to come by, not only to look at the offerings but to soak up the atmosphere....More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic
and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is
dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops,
ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the
