We stumbled across this street while spending a week in Paris. What a treat! There is everything from wine to meat and more. We purchased some cheeses and a bottle of wine. They even corked it for us and gave us glasses so we could...More

We stayed right next to this street. Great food shopping, restaurants, and...people watching. There are great places for a coffee or a drink. Close to Censier-Daubenton metro and an easy walk from the Pantheon or the Museum of Natural History.

It is a street with some market stands. It was sunday by the end of the day and some shops were closed. It is a nice market street with cafes , shops and restaurants. Not a touristic area. The church, Saint Medard is also nice...More

A relatively short stretch of street where you have fresh produces like vegetable, fruits, meats cured or raw, to fresh breads n desserts! Always love the atmosphere there and my fave tart shop resides within the street! 👍🏻👍🏻

Great market with all kinds of veges and lots of meats. Not too much fowl or fish and prices are fairly high. Most interesting thing that I say were the cepes (see photo).

We enjoyed our stroll around this steet market with its wide variety of offerings. Definitely a must for visitors to Paris to appreciate the flavour of the local market.

Great street to stroll on and purchase items for a picnic. We found the freshest strawberries, a cheese shop, bakeries, and many more interesting shops. Hemingway lived up the street from here. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. Close to the Pantheon, too.

Love the fish stalls the most in this market that is located close to Place Monge and various other food stalls as well. This is a good place to wonder around and come to have something to eat. Closed Monday.

This is OK, not much to add to the other reviews. For a very authentic local experience you could take a short walk to the Place Monge market as well.

Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life,
architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The
small streets are filled with classical buildings,
student bars and lively eateries while the squares are
dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined
by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin
once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which
celebrates the great men and women of France. During

We recommend you check the Mouffetard Market and they also have a "Contact" page in their website with an email address that you could try to send a message and check if they will open at the day you will be there.

The Rue Mouffetard is a place to go for food and entertainment, not luxury shopping.
