Wonderful little shops and stalls with mainly food products. Cheese, seafood, pastries, ...! Couldn't resist and enjoyed fresh oysters and a glass of wine! Prices are below those you might know from typical tourist spots. The only negative point is that the street market is...More

This is a lovely stroll along the street to look at the food and stuff for sale. There has been a market here for centuries, so you are a part of history. Fun place.

I love this area, This is an authentic little street market, loads of stalls with little shops behind. Take a basket and wander and end up in Place Monge for a coffee while you watch the world go by and pretend you're a local.

This is a food Mecca... When in Paris, my husband and I always come to the Rue Mouffetard to try a new restaurant, so this time I decided to take my co-worker there. We both enjoyed the plethora of cozy restaurants - French cuisine and...More

by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin
once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which
celebrates the great men and women of France. During

We recommend you check the Mouffetard Market and they also have a "Contact" page in their website with an email address that you could try to send a message and check if they will open at the day you will be there.

The Rue Mouffetard is a place to go for food and entertainment, not luxury shopping.
