I love Place Monge, especially on market days. The food is fabulous there: produce, eggs, ready to eat foods and deli items, cheese. You can't go wrong!

I got off the Metro today at Place Monge to see the Pantheon so thought I’d check out Place Monge whilst I was here. I’m not sure why it’s listed as an attraction - it was ok, but nothing I’d go out of my way...More

I've been to this Place a hundred times to visit our friends. It's the location of a good market and close to a number of good restaurants and cafes. The entire area is worth a slow stroll.

The walk along Rue Monge which is just below Pantheon is a charming and cozy entrance into everyday French life. Lots of shops selling the most delicious foods and then the historic Place Monge with its historic food market!
