You could say just another stone bridge over the Seine, however what sets this one apart from the others is the striking column of Saint Genevieve perched at the top, who is the Patron Saint of Paris.

This bridge, architecturally alike many others in Paris connects the smaller isle of Saint Louis with the left bank at Latin quarter. What distinguishes it from others is the big obelisk like statue of Saint Genevieve - dedicated to patron saint of Paris.

Lovely white bridge over the Seine which goes straight through Ile Saint Louis and provides some great views.

This crosses from left back to the Ile de Saint Louis and traverses the island to enter the right bank as Pont Marie. This was the closest bridge to our lodging in Marais. And as with most other central Paris bridges- we crossed on foot and under in boat. Please see my one photo- most everyone has said that there are beautiful views from there: who am I to disagree?…

Superb views of Ile St. Louis from this bridge that carries a lot of motor traffic as well as foot traffic. And leads to a very cool part of the Left Bank. Modern statute of import Ste. Genevieve here.
