This is a great place to go if you want to get Eiffel pics early in the morning. Gets crowded later in the day, but a good place for a cute picnic in the afternoon.

The best place to get a shot of the Eiffel Tower and a huge Lawn. But a large portion was under Maintenance and because of the rains it was slushy. Still for a photoshoot, it is a good place. There were no toilets nearby, So...More

We were here in May and found the gardens very careless, without the beauty that the place imposes! This park is located right next to the Eiffel Tower and from there it is possible to take some of the best photos of the Tower. This...More

Champ de Mars is a nice place for a stroll and features an awesome view of the Eiffel Tower. It can get a bit crowded thou, in the afternoon.

The Champs de Mars are long gardens with paths that stretch from the Eiffel Tower to the Military School. The park is flat and green with trees on the perimeter and this used to be a parade ground. Obviously the Eiffel Tower is the star....More

Great park with incredible views of the Eiffel Tower, however...don’t the French ever have to use the toilette? We found one facility on the entire Champ de Mars and it happened to be closed. There are wonderful playgrounds for the children and it is one...More

Beautiful field which was unfortunately closed during our stay in Paris. Even though it is told that the grass is being protected from damaging, dogs can freely run there and do their dirty things, which the owners do not clean.

We didn't feel unsafe in either area. We had dinner about a block away from the Champ de Mars and then walked over to the park to watch the Eiffel Tower twinkle at night. You have to be careful but it wasn't unsafe. Both are... More
