Lovely big park hidden away in the city. Beautiful big sequoia trees, a lake, numerous seats and delightful little cafe by the main gates. Lush gardens.

Great little place to have a homemade meal in a gorgeous atmosphere. The food is simple and prepared for you by the owner. Affordable and diverse. Just make sure to make a reservation because she buys just enough for her guests. Menu varies everyday.

Found this park in my wanderings. It is a pleasant spot not so far off the main street in Tours. There is a duck pond and some exotic trees, including a California Sequoia.

This is the ideal place to have a picnic at lunch time. It is very peaceful and relaxing. I do love the redwood trees (sempervirens sequoias). They are magnificent!
