Beautiful gardens with some wonderful animals to visit. Spent a lovely couple of hours walking round with toddler who loved the animals, sculptures and playground. Perfect for killing time in Tours. Free entry and free parking on surrounding roads too.

Having finished touring Centre Creation Contemporain of Tours, we decided to check out Jardin Botanique since it was not far away. Gees, what a discovery! There’s a lot to see here, and we wandered for hours.

Family friendly, free, and varied. There are only plants from the French-speaking world. And there is a fascinating Evolution garden section. A wonderful 1-2 hour experience.

Beautiful gardens carefully tended with some unique features like a flock of unusual ducks. A delight for botanists and those with no gardening knowledge. A guided tour by staff explaining the significance of the gardens. Also full of interesting characters. Sadly the toilet facilities have...More

We walked the city to the Botanical Gardens. Whilst we took an odd route, we're really pleased as did. The park is fabulous, from the array of plants and trees to the animals including flamingos. Well kept and we really enjoyed our time here.

Very pleasant gardens with specimen trees, ponds and wildlife. Plenty of shady places to sit when the sun is too strong. There is an outdoor performance area, but nothing was on when I was there. I would imagine it would be an excellent venue for...More

We wandered through the gardens - a great, no-cost activity! While we went during December, there were still plenty of things to see. We also saw pink flamingos, wallabies, and ostriches. It was a fun little side trip within the city.
