Stopped in Loches in May 2018. We were fortunate to visit on market day. Spent two hours browsing the stalls (everything from fruits, veggies, live chickens, plants, clothes, cheese, house wears and more was available). We loved checking out the market in this medieval city....More

Visited the historic centre and church on a quiet , hot Sunday afternoon, so it may not be a typical picture. The church is very old, containing the tomb of Agnes Sorel, as described in other reviews. Had some delicious home made ice cream nearby.

Well worth the €9 each to visit all the sites at the top of the hill. The castle itself is just fantastic and you can spend hours up there. I also thought the presence of really comfy sunchairs up on the green was a great...More

One of the main attractions would be the castle and old town well worth a walk around. Several cafes/restaurants in the town center generally a pleasant well kept town.
