Open every day of the year ! The medieval fortress dominates the village with its austere facade. But don't be daunted: the open drawbridge is an invitation to enter into the refined lodgings of a great lord. It is the most fully furnished castle of...more

Unlike the other castles this one is more 'dark' and not so shinning. But it's well kept, the rooms are well reconstructed and the guided tour was good. More like a castle in the usual meaning of the word
Well worth the admission price. Very well presented rooms, which give you a real feel for the castle in medieval times, as well as beautiful gardens to walk around. Allow at least 2 hours to properly visit this chateau.
Loved this place not all pimped up for the tourist . Easy access spectacular views from the ramparts and lovely rooms almost as you can imagine them back in the day. Walk up past the wall and you can see the devices and scaffolding used...More
Went here today for a day out and it was brilliant. Beautiful building and well restored.
The staff were very helpful and the tickets were a bargain at €9.80 each! We spent about an hour walking round before we checked out the gardens and the...More

Also a great visit with children - we received an activity booklet that...More

The gardens are pretty & well kept.
The whole thing is dog friendly.
