It's hard not to be emotionally affected by the contents and stories of the brave people commemorated here. A bit more background information in other European languages might attract more interested visitors.

This is the first museum that I have ever visited in which the exploits of both heroes and traitors are held up for inspection, side by side. Fascinating! It would have been more convenient for my travel companions if there had been English translations available....More

All in French, but some really interesting links with British support to the Maquis, some precious historical finds, and personal detail about local deportation and the line dividing Vichy France from occupied France.
