Especially the roman gravestones (stelae) collected from local sites. Paintings a bit grim for my taste but the references to local history very good.

It was a very hot day. The museum is closed during midday. We were a bit early. There was but one bank in the shade. Personal was sitting there. You don't have to offer to the visitors, but it would have been nice. We waited...More

Just lovely! The staff were very friendly and informative which made for a warm welcome! The collection itself was very good too considering that there was not entrance fee! Bourges has indeed impressed us in many ways!
