A wide open space in front of the castle welcomes everyone for free. The place is usually used to hold expositions and events. It is surrounded by trees and shrubs and ornamental plants and the lawn is well kept. A very nice view awaits you at the back of the castle the bay of Saint-Malo is out there. We walked over a rather complex root from the old city to find you could not even get a drink of water for the kid. The place was abandoned even the shops at the back where stripped out. IT is a lovely building and nice garden but don't waste your time.

It took about 30 minutes including waiting for the second bus to arrive at the Parc. The park itself is lovely to walk in. There are many varieties of plants and trees to look at. There is a black top path to walk on, plenty of benches to sit on and clean, free, public restrooms. They do not allow picnics. From several of the benches you have a beautiful view of Dinard, the Tour Solidor, and the Rance River. The chateau is lovely to look at but the public is not allowed inside.…
