Great day out even in the pouring rain
Aug 2020 • Family
We had planned to spend 2hrs here, had to drag the kids out after 4hrs! Loved it. Corn maze was amazing and lots of fun. Kids loved the animals and all the fabulous old wooden games. No extra costs, loads of undercover areas and very safe and clean. Loved how the kids could go into most of the animal enclosures which made it so much more fun for them. Highly recommend this venue, bring lunch with you.

Great place, all looks new, friendly staff
Jul 2020
We regularly visit this kind of places with our kids (7 and 10) and this one is one of the best ones we've been! We went on the only rainy afternoon of the month so far (not my best choice) but yet we all had lots of fun! The first part is a place surrounded by trees, where kids have lots of choices to play at. All looks new and attractive! The staff if numerous and very friendly and helpful. The second part is the maze (not easy!) completed with a search of objects and a funny show at the end (congrats to the enthousiastic performers!). Count on the whole day there. There is a cafe with snacks, food and drinks (not too cheap). You can also take your picnic, some tables are covered if needed. There is also an aquatic slide so take your swimming costume if you wish. Thanks for a great, even rainy, family day!

A great day out for kids of all ages
Aug 2019
L'aven Parc is a really good day out. The maize maze are fantastic, you could spend the nday just exploring the different mazes along with the magicians and entertainment in the middle. The tyre slides and wooden maze were also a hit with our group. There is plenty to keep you occupied here for a day.
The only negative I would say, is the entrance price is a little on the pricey side, not helped by the weak pound!

Brilliant find
Aug 2019 • Family
We were a little sceptical when we headed out as this isn’t well publicised or sign posted, but we were so glad we made the trip. The park is a real delight with a whole host of things to do we ended up staying all day. The younger ones (3 & 5) enjoyed the traditional style games, farm and smaller mazes. The adults and teenager enjoyed the giant maze which was a real challenge. The oldies enjoyed the cafe and the food. A day out that keeps everyone happy - perfect!

A good attraction for young and older.
Jun 2019 • Family
Despite it being a day with showers there were breaks and plenty to do, with some indoor venues. For both children and adults there were many challenging games to be played, and more physical activities, with an exciting long run travelled in round 1 or 2 person containers (see photo).
There are also 2 mazes, one hedge, one wooden (with some distorting mirrors). A large area where farm animals are kept and feeing of the lambs takes place. There is also a creperie selling reasonably priced crepes and some very good ice cream.
A good two/three hour worth of entertaintment.

A delightful day out
Aug 2018 • Family
I'll start by saying we stayed much longer than expected. We though that we'd be here for an hour or two. Three hours after arriving there was still much to be done and the children were still engrossed. The animals may not be kept in a way that you would expect in the UK, but they look content and happy. It is important that children know where their food comes from, and this was something that the mini freme does well.
The mazes are reasonable, but there are some great surprises in the rest of the area.

Fabulous place.well worth a visit. We visited in a family of 9 from 6 months old to 50 and everyone enjoyed it. Very reasonable. The labyrinthe itself is brilliant and the interaction with the characters is brilliant.

Amazing day for my little girl's birthday
Jul 2018 • Family
Visited here to mark my daughters 4th birthday while we were on holiday. We paid for the cheapest ticket without the large maze as thought she would find the actors scary. Also had my 5yo son with us. What a little gem of a place, they absolutely loved it and we spent 5hrs here. The outdoor games, trampolines and small mazes were brilliant and the setting is beautiful. Lunch was reasonable and tasty followed by an ice cream. A few animals to see, had no issue with rams or electric fencing as mentioned on other reviews. A day out for 23€ was a bargain I thought, highly recommend a visit.

Great! But watch out for...electric fence!
Jul 2018 • Family
Absolutely love it here, second year visiting with kids 4&7 years old. We do the farm/ games area and two mini mazes, haven’t done the big maze yet as don’t think they’ll cope (and our French is poor).

However...Please note... live electric fences around the children’s farm! At 7 year old height/ reach. And yes, he got a shock! Aimed at shocking a cow, therefore significant current for a 7 year old child and enough to be felt as though (in his words) being slapped on the back and chest when touching the fence with two fingers! Absolutely no warning signs anywhere. Quite terrifying when this is specifically aimed at children and school groups. Mentioned at reception with little interest shown, although said they would pass it on and no concern at all for the child’s welfare! Suggest if required then must be switched off during visiting hours! Would have thought this was basic safety.

Also; Do not buy pop corn (unless solely for chickens). The thing to be aware of is the butting ram’s in the walk in enclosure. They chased my husband last year causing a nasty bruise and also caught our then 6 year old before lifted to safety. They go crazy for the popcorn feed sold on the way in or even the sound or sight of the paper bag. We assumed this was an unlucky one off last year then saw them charging a young family carrying pop corn this year and suspect it’s a daily occurrence.

The only other gripe is that the horses and many other cages including rabbits in particular are not mucked out..at all by the looks of it, piles of manure that looks weeks old. This really lets the otherwise immaculate site down as well as the animals.

All that aside, (although important points that I really hope they address), this really is a wonderfully imaginative place for young children to really run free and play the old fashioned way. Old tractors to sit on, pedal tractors to drive around a course, trampolines, tunnels area is great, a ‘feel under foot ‘ area where you walk a path over different materials, water cushions to try and walk on, giant chess, giant connect four plus other wooden games. Also a mini maze and a wooden maze, perfect size for our two. Also a herb garden to smell and a dozen other things to play with.

Picnic recommended, lovely to sit out and there are several areas dotted around for this. Crepe or ice cream also recommended. The cafe is nicely laid out to look over the site.

This really is a great place, beautifully thought out. I really hope they address the three issues, otherwise would have definitely marked outstanding.
