We did the combined tour of the workshop and the museum. Our two year old loved it and so did we. The pottery on display is beautiful with a real range of work on display. All the staff were helpful and one even ran after...More

I personally called the Museum when I was planning my trip to Quimper back in July of 2016 to make sure they would be open in October/November. That wasn't the case when I got there. I was really disappointed as I had built this stop...More

This museum is next door to the one remaining manufacturer of Quimper pottery with its charming motifs. The museum is well laid out and has a vast range of pieces.

I have long been a fan of the colourful peasant decorated pottery of Quimper, and when staying in the area was determined to see as much as possible. I therefore headed to this museum with high hopes, which unfortunately were not fulfilled. A relatively expensive...More

Definite must see. The presentation of Quimper pottery over the years is great, and the displays of the works of particular artists is especially interesting. Missing this would be a shame if you understand the significance of faience to this region.

The museum is well laid out, informative and has some lovely examples of Faience - particularly as practised between about 1880 and 1940. Well worth a visit - the new buildings on the site of the original works are beautifully finished and laid out.
