This visit could take from 20 minutes (if you don't want to look at the exhibits) to an hour. The view from the top is worth the entrance fee. The bells ring on the hour and on the quarter-hours and there are signs to warn...More

Belfry dating from the end of 15th century. Rising to a height of 30 metres at the parapet walkway, the tower was gifted its largest bell in 1507 by the Duchess Anne. Wooden staircases provide access as far as the parapet walk from where there...More

As an addict of clock towers, I find this one of the most interesting. Frankly, there was not a lot compelling in Dinan -- it is nice yet not exactly thrilling -- yet if you are there by all means see the clock tower and...More

Went here in October on a cloudy, dreary, misty day. The steps can be exhausting; it is not suited for anyone with a physical disability. The view this day was limited and the site was overrated.

Ok, a little hard to explain, we we think this place is overpriced and somewhat difficult to walk up the stairs. I know it is an old site but I found it strenuous. The view on a late afternoon are fantastic so you take the...More

After being woken up by the bell of the tower, we decided to se what the noise was about. A short but interesting climb up the stairs. The view from the top was amazing.

It's a long climb up rickety and narrow stairs, and you do get a lovely view of the surrounding town and countryside, but not worth the price of admission.
