Went to The City to watch Champions League final after checking out a couple of other pubs around the area. Screens everywhere and a good vibe in the place and drinks reasonably priced. Had a good night besides the result of the match.

We arrived in Bordeaux for the New Year celebrations and we were appalled at the amount of rubbish in the streets, overflowing dustbins, dog mess and general dechets. Why was this - we noticed that the cleaners only started arriving on the 2nd Jan.Not good...More

Mixture of old and new. Wide boulevards and narrow cobbled streets. Nice pleasant feel about the city. Feels safe and comfortable but beware of the trams and the bicycles. Ate at Chez Jean in Place de Parlement one night - excellent. One would never go...More
