Relaxed atmosphere, extensive numbers of beers that regularly change. So much variety. Bar staff are fantastic at helping you pick the right beer for you. Standard Manchester prices for a pint, sometimes 2/3 pint depending on the beer but definitely worth it. For non-drinkers (or...More

Came here after a meal and a walk around central Manchester mid afternoon on a Sunday. Busy but not too bad, found room for us all to sit down. Great choice of cask and keg beers. Kids welcomed, they included a baby few months old...More

Met friends here for an early afternoon beer. Fairly quiet on arrival but obviously well known to those in the know and filled up as afternoon and evening progressed. The plan was to go elsewhere but we enjoyed the beer too much. Fantastic selection. Very...More

Had a couple of drinks in here after work and there is a great selection. We both enjoyed our drinks before the Christmas markets.

Visited with friends. Great choice of ales and a nice warm comfortable bar. Only reason we moved on was they had a really poor choice of soft drinks and no diet/low sugar choices at all including not even diet tonic! Their own brand 'sodas' were...More

Been a few times to this place over the years and it’s alright. They have plenty of good real ale (cask and keg) at “reasonable”prices but I think it’s decor and ambience puts me off going regularly (bit too modern for me).
