Salut is a wine shop but not as you know it, it's a wine bar but there's nowhere else like it. We have over 300 different wines to choose off the shelf to take home or drink in, and over 40 of them are available by the glass. And because we're independent, every one of them has been chosen by us. Our state-of-the-art Enomatic machines mean that every glass you try will be as fresh as the moment it was uncorked. As well as standard serving sizes there is a smaller 50ml tasting measure. At last, a wine bar where you can choose exactly which wine you want, and the size you want, even when you all want something different. We've teamed up with independent wine educator Stephen Rosser who runs industry-recognised WSET wine courses on Mondays & Tuesdays and North Star Delicatessen, a local family business which shares our commitment to quality, to offer a range of wine-friendly foods. Salut brings a Mancunian no-nonsense attitude to wine-drinking. If you want a guiding hand, our knowledgable and friendly team are here to help. If you want to have fun exploring on your own, there's no better place to jump in and go for it!

A stylish little bar tucked out of the way. We had a nice couple of drinks sat out in the sun. Good service and a good selection of drinks at a good price.

A brief visit with a friend after making a hasty exit from another bar. This occupies the former Oddbins shop premises. It is a decent size, with mezzanine added in. It seems to have carried on Oddbins specialty of having a huge selection of wines...More

Popped into here as had an hour wait for my train. Ended up with a beautiful bottle of Rioja and a great atmosphere while catching up with friends!

We stumbled upon this place whilst looking for somewhere quiet but stylish to have a drink. We walked in and were instantly made to feel welcome with the concept explained and no hassle to rush to make choices. So there’s a ‘vending machine’ of wines,...More

We were glad to find this place having had the experience when looking for a bar for a drink and nibbles in Manchester of loud blaring music, struggles to find seats and glasses of wine that indicated that most people were on gin or beer....More

Superb selection of wines and cheeses/nibbles in a relaxed atmosphere. We live for wine vending and this place is always a hit.

We probably visit here once a month. Always end up spending a bit of cash but the wine is just so good and the choice even better. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed and service when needed top notch. Very centrally located.

We visited the wine bar and were intrigued by the concept of so many wines and the idea you can buy a pre paid card and sample as many wines as you like. We are not big French wine drinkers and there we very few...More
