Very interesting house. Not too many rooms are open but those that are. Give a lot of information. The tea room is good too and they offer crafts this weekfir children and dressing up clothes.

Hidden gem in the south of Manchester, Lovely house and the guides are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Learnt a lot about Elizabeth that I did not know. Ticket allows you to revisit over the next year

Really lovely visit to the house, there has been a lot restoration work done, and I was told still a lot more was needed. The entry fee goes towards the maintenance and upkeep. As the house has been used for various groups over the years...More

Not really a restaurant, but you can get coffee / tea and cake. Have a good time.

I am not sure about the bus, but it is not open on Friday only Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, last admission is 4pm. The price is £4.95 but that ticket lasts for a year. It is well worth a visit.
