Interesting place to visit in the city centre. The building is beautiful but not that huge inside compared with other libraries I've visited.

It was usually out of hours, when we passed, but this building is an amazing piece of architecture. It is a beautiful sight and good photographic opportunity. At night it is beautifully lit up.

Beautiful reading room and excellent research area although you need to book this if you want something in the archive. Worth a visit just of look round the building

Sadly each time we were in St Peters Square & the area of Manchester Central Library it was closed From the exterior though it is a truly impressive building.

Walking down Princess Street after a Christmas Market visit. Looking at impressive buildings, Town Hall, Town Hall extension and the Library. Impressive.

This library has 3 floors & has a cafe but closes at 5pm.There is a large selection of food choices & free WiFi. It has many computer stations apertaining to many social history information. I am probably not writing the full impact of this place...More
