We went as a group of 8-10 ppl. We were ambushed by a group of what seemed to be local lads/men ages around 16-40 ish. They tried to rob us of money, watches, anything that seemed to be of any value. We were chased through...More
Had a nice walk around the lake with our dog and she was pleased to see the ducks and swans. Sadly one end of the lake is full of litter. Public toilet. Playground for young children. Mainly clean. Friendly students on their lunchbreak.
A big open park with a few surprises along the way.

This park is not bad for BBQ but not the best for families or someone looking for a decent park, I usually go to Birtch field park (5 minutes walking from Plattfield park) as it is better for families.
