Contact is Manchester's provocative and innovative performance venue situated in the heart of the city's busy Oxford Road Corridor (a short walk from both Manchester Museum and The Whitworth). We present professional theatre, dance, spoken word, music, cabaret, live art and comedy across our three spaces (300 seat auditorium, 70 seat studio theatre, and downstairs cabaret space) and in unusual locations throughout Greater Manchester. We also have a fantastic cafe - Contact Lounge - serving coffees and teas to take away, a wide range of wines, beers, and spirits, and a lunch menu created by our in-house caterers Samosa Shack offering delicious artisan street food inspired by Gujarati cuisine (vegetarian options available, food served Mon-Fri, 12am to 4pm). With Free WiFi, it's the perfect spot for meeting, chatting, and general lounging.

Have seen local drag queens, Jinkx Monsoon, Alan Cummings, and many various artists here. Lovely venue, good drinks sales; all round nice place to have a drink or watch a show - queer or otherwise.

Had lunch here with colleagues. Food was tasty and plenty of it. Staff were smiley and pleasant. Food very cheap. I recommend their soups.

Contact is a pretty unique, perhaps ugly building. Crazy youth centre style type thingy might be a good description. That said, the theatre itself is brilliant. I watched a very harrowing play here and you felt as if you were part of the action. I'd...More

I'm not sure about this as I'm a barman and front of house employee. You would need to contact the theatre itself directly
