Our guide Cameron was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour was supposed to last an hour but ran 15 minutes over and was still too short!

A free visit to this really interesting castle, which was HMP until 2012. The guided tour was great, entertainment courtesy of guide Cameron.

Excellent tour James our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the castle, the heraldry room is fascinating, and the fact that it is still a working court is interesting James made the tour very enjoyable.

Tour was roughly an hour long and covered a large part of Lancaster and British history. The guide (Colin), was knowledgable and entertaining and mixed historical facts with good humour and visitor interaction.
