We visited here on a dull day, but were so pleased that we made the effort to walk to the windmill because the views are stunning. Excellent information boards - well worth reading.

This is a truly beautiful place to visit. Perfect for picnics and able to go find a peaceful quiet place for your family or even as a budding photographer the place is wonderfully set up

Parking in the lay by on the road is free. It's a 5 minute stroll up to the Windmill itself which you can walk up to at any time of day.
