It's very much a town landmark and I'd hate for it to be removed but it's an extremely boring statue of our former queen that isn't very flattering to her. I barely notice it when I walk past.

This monumental statue dominates the lower end of The Parade, Leamington's central shopping street. It's position and size make it impressive rather than any artistic merit. It is a notable tourist attraction in Leamington and worth seeking out.

A beautiful statue in a beautiful town. A lovely piece of history. One of the many lovely features of picturesque Leamington Spa.

The Statue of Queen Victoria situated in front of the City Hall is an iconic monument of the city. The statue was created by the English sculptor Albert Toft (1862 - 1949), same artist that created the War Memorial from the same city. On the...More

Not much to say really it's a statue! Tactile like many... They all look the same to me! Very tall but fits in to the surroundings.

Good old Queen Victoria, she appears often around our country, but this is one of the best statues of her I have come across. She stands proud surveying this lovely town.

There must be hundreds if not thousands of statues of Queen Victoria. In itself this is not - in my opinion - an outstanding example. However as it is outside the Town Hall in Royal Leamington Spa is warrants a mention. I imagine that QV...More

We passed this statue when on a Treasure Trail as it was one if our clues. A surprising fact, was that it moved an inch due to a bomb and this could be seen by the fact that it had not been realigned. A true...More

Statue of Queen Victoria. Apparently it was moved by a bomb in the war. Would have liked a way to get a closer look at the statue to see how it had moved.

I really like that they left the statue as it is after the impact from a bomb blast moved it (I also don't know how you would move it back even if you wanted to). The whole plinth also looks a little off centre. It's...More
