Unless you want a chippy tea don't bother. The Derby Arms has become a chippy with a pub attached indeed it hasn't even got an extensive chippy menu just fish scampi and burgers

Arrived the Derby Arms at 9:00 pm on Tues 25 Oct. Doors locked. People inside drinking. We were studiously ignored. Very disappointing.

Disappointed with the service, very slow then proceeded to argue in the reception area re timing, arrival, expediting, serving up 3 mins was 10 mins! Food was ok.only 6 others there, one other table asked when food was due.

Whenever we come here the food is always good. Very friendly country pub. I would recommend the Derby Arms to anyone.
