Have been walking various dogs down by the local river in Fulwood 30 years and they decided to include it as part of the guild wheel. Now we have to avoid it if the weather is nice and the lunatic cyclist think they own it....More

I have completed the guild wheel a couple of times now. The path is easy enough to follow with mile signed posts which is encouraging to see how far your going. The scenery is lovely through brockholes brow. The only bit i found i couldnt...More

If you're looking for a solid cycling track with good surfaces, little pedestrians and no busy road crossings - this track is not for you. Otherwise, this track is great for less-serious bikers. Very varied, great sites, and pretty challenging sometimes too. Brilliant for the...More

I have cycled the Guild Wheel many times. Mainly off road but care required in certain places when crossing main roads such as the A6 at Broughton crossroads and the new road at the motorway roundabout. Alternative routes to avoid some of the steep bits....More

This is a really great bike ride. It is a circular route and mostly off road. There is a little bit on dual cartridge way but there are cycle paths on the pavements. There are a few hills but only one we had to push...More

I live locally to the Guild Wheel and whilst I ride a section of it regularly I don't do the full route often. It is a great asset to the folk of Preston. Sadly, the man who's vision became a reality, and without whom we...More
