Good quality butchers & deli style stalls. The only downside is there is no fishmongers and no competition for the deli style stalls there just being one cold meats and one cheese & chutney stall. However, the stalls that are there are brilliant - good...More

Preston council probably visited San Miguel market in Madrid for inspiration first. As the Victorian market has a new trendy makeover with half of the market enclosed by modern glass and wood. This part of the market has a high ratio of cafes to stalls....More

Very poor version of the indoor market. The glass area is cluttered with an odd range of stalls. Too many cafes and not enough choice for butchers and vegetables. Why there is need for wig shops and luggage stalls I don't know. Luckily you can...More

The market has just been modernised with a large part of it being enclosed. The enclosed area has some really nice stalls, cafes and even a micro-bar. It's definitely worth a visit.

visited for the first time on Saturday, the new hall is bright and cheery and the choir was entertaining. Some stalls yet to open but the ones that are open were busy with lots of fine food and goods on offer.

The Preston indoor market was great – easy access, friendly, lots of spaces, seat, toilets and stalls. It has since been replaced by what looks like a homemade garden shed greenhouse inside the newly painted covered market. The stalls inside are good, but not a...More

After seeing rave reviews of the new market hall we arrived on Friday afternoon. Yes some of the stalls were still setting up but the place was buzzing. Lots of food choices to eat in or take away plus a couple of butchers, delicatessens etc....More
