A brief walk around Victoria Pleasure Gardens on Thursday afternoon 23/08/18 & absolutely stunning garden & extremely well maintained throughout, a variety of trees plants & shrubs & some very old beautiful cottages opposite the main entrance along the canal waterway.

Came across this by accident, very pleasant picturesque gardens alongside the river. Lovely flowers and weeping willows leading to the weir by the Abbey Mill. Interesting to look across the flood plains and then travel further along to join up with the Riverside Walk.

Whilst walking dogs we came across this. It was a lovely place to rest with loads of benches. Highly recommend. The gardens are well kept
