We like this pub. It serves a good pint of Harveys beer, the locals are very friendly, they have a quiz every Sunday and they often have live bands. Very good if you live nearby.

Absolutely loved this place. Went to see a great blues band last night, really enjoyed it. It's great to see Pubs of this character still open these days. Great atmosphere and fantastic selection of Harvey's ale on tap. Will deff return.

If you are not a regular in this pub, you will be made to feel unwelcome, much like we did! Prices are far too high for a dingy pub like this too. Will def not return!!

Sit down meal upstairs which was reserved as a private function. Very basic 80's style set menu but the food was lovely and big portions. Friendly atmosphere and staff very nice

All around such pubs are disappearing fast. The landlord and land lady Joe and Charlotte Houlihan are the ingredients that make this old traditional oak framed public house the exception. Always a warm welcome new folk, male or female, soon feel at home. There is...More
