Met some friends in here last Wednesday for a couple of beers. Most unusually the Courage Best was not up to the usual standard so I had something else for my 2nd pint and then left to go somewhere else. Still clean and tidy but...More
This pub is well located in the High St and has a very impressive interior and a good beer garden. It serves low cost food to compete with Wetherspoons but in my view is just off the mark. The draft beers were very disappointing, especially...More

Great to be back on Wednesday evening to meet old friends.
It is lovely to see this newish pub in the town centre.
This family owned pub that used to be the Kentish Bank Office has been really well converted as a bar and has...More
Visited late one Saturday evening with friends who were visiting the area for the first time.
As expected with it being a Saturday night ques were ridiculous and we seemed to have to push our way through to get served as otherwise we'd be waiting...More

We can highly recommend Strawberry Moons nightclub, that has recently added a Rooftop "Moonlight" Bar. They are open until 2am and play a mixture of chart, R&B and party, plus laid back house music on the rooftop... More
