For such a large town, Basingstoke has no really large parks to speak of, so this is the best you are going to get. And it's not large - more medium size. They could have done more to be honest. Toilets in the boat hire...More

Considering how busy Eastrop Park can be, this place is incredibly relaxing, there always something for adults and children to do, the boating lake is awesome, the splash pool is great, the Basingstoke canal runs through it. (VERY SMALL) the park lands, great in the...More

This is the second time I have visited eastrop park and on both occasions it has been a great day, the only thing for me that lets it down is the toilets. Overall a great day out for all ages.

If you haven’t been to this park yet, you haven’t been to Basingstoke fully. Situated at the midpoint of the town, it is fully accessible before and after shopping at festival place and is totally worth going to! I give it ten out of ten....More

It was relatively quiet but gave a different experience. Not the traditional playground but kids had fun. Clean and peaceful.

Nice clean park situated very close to the town but far enough away to be leafy and green. Roughly where the Basingstoke canal originally terminated (actually near the bus station) and is the start of the Basingstoke Canal heritage trail.

It has good amenities, all the things a good size park should have: boating lake, children's park, ducks to feed, nature ponds for dipping! Nothing spectacular but a good day out!

Brought my grandson here with his new RC speedboat. He had a great time driving it round one of the big ponds. Lots of climbing frames and a great place to have walk. Boats out in the summer to rent and peddlows too. Good for...More
