One of the oldest pubs in the country. I have visited now 2 out of 3 oldest pubs in the space of a week having visited the Fighting cocks in St Albans this week. Nice character and good cider.

Steeped in history. If you like social history and beer, appreciate friendly staff and fellow customers then you just have to visit when you are next in Bolton.
