A great way to spend a couple of hours looking at the magnificent old steam engines. Lots of exhibits and models and live working attractions. The staff are brilliant and go out of their way to help and inform you.

We spent a couple of hours looking around at the magnificent rescued machinery on one of the `steaming days`. Good level access for those with mobility restrictions. Very good information from the excellent volunteers. A free to visit museum, donations at your discretion are appreciated.More

The museum is open in steam most bank holidays and every Sunday and Wednesday. When we are not in steam but will be happy to run some of the engines electrically.
