There are many things for children to play on in the playground like swings, climbing frames and sand pit. There is also a reasonably priced cafe.

Nice park to the NW of the town centre around a 10 minute walk from the centre. Whilst the park has no remarkable features it is green space and does not get too busy even in summer.

There’s plenty of street parking at the numerous entrances, there are also two dedicated car parks. If the car parks are full, park outside the main entrance to the park, across from the offices, your car will be secure.
