Joined the Royal Iris at Salford Quays, travelled along the canal through Warrington and on to the Pier Head at Liverpool. I was surprised how many people were on board although the boat could cope, especially when we all came inside because of a little...More

Went with a group of friends. The boat first picked up at seacombe so by the time it reached Liverpool it was packed and the best seats taken. It was too packed to be comfortable for me personally. My view was restricted by an unpleasant...More

Spent a superb day with my wife, on the Manchester Ship Canal. The scenery and wildlife was spectacular, a wonderful way to relax and spend some quality time together. We will definitely return to sail this route again some time in the future.

There is café, which serves light lunches, snacks and hot drinks. Not sure about alcoholic drinks. But I am sure, one would not die of hunger or thirst on board!
