As an unfit, non-walker I wondered what I had let myself in for on the first incline! But despite my trepidation we made it to the top! It took longer than I thought with the children in tow but they got up there no problem....More

The Car Park is basically roadside at the moment but there’s enough of it not to fear not being able to find a spot. You’ll be wise to have a pair of boots and possibly a stick as the ground can be slippy. The starting...More

This is a really nice circular walk which is easily visited if staying at the Buckatree Hotel (see review) there are no benches but what I did find unacceptable was selfish dog walkers who carried dog poop bags but then just discarded them on all...More

It was well worth the 40 minute walk up a broad track through lovely woods to see the great views across the surrounding countryside from the top. There is parking along the road but I imagine at busy times this could be a problem.

The main drag is just that - a long rather tedious drag to the top! Instead plan to spend longer and walk right over the top and down the opposite side! Two lovely routes back to the parking area - or instead try the High...More
