Our guide, Tim, did a good job of skating through several centuries of history. Two short films, depicting the manufacturing process and several company...More

The car park is very small and the museum not much bigger. Also it is very expensive and would have cost the whole family £50 to get in. We could go to Blackpool for that.

I thoroughly enjoyed this informative visit to the old clay pipe making factory. You do however need to bear in mind that they only take fairly small groups round, owing to the nature of the site, so you are best to turn up really early...More

what a wonderful little place. Of all the Ironbridge museums this is the best. You walk through the door and immediately step back in time. the majority of the building is as it was it closed. Brilliant

From the car park the pipeworks was not how I expected it from the outside. To look round the museum you go on a guided tour in small groups which is great as you get the facts on quite a personal basis. It is incredible...More

This factory was abandoned in 1960 after the death of the owner in 1957. The contents remained untouched until Ironbridge Museums purchased the site in 1991. You are only able to visit twice a day with tours @ 1.30 and 3pm. These tours last 45...More
