Wished we were able to visit this place sooner to get some inspiration for Art Deco tiling. Some of the rooms are tiled from floor to the walls, and wonder to see some of the different Victorian styles too. From the outside of the building,...More

Went here... expecting a disappointment... Came back thinking can't wait to try this again. If you get a chance to do this with the kids I would highly recommend it. We were there 3 hours and can't wait to see the results. Will do this...More

Had a lovely time wondering round. In origional building which added to the experience. Seconds shop was shut on the Sunday which would have been nice to see and no fridge magnets on sale. A reoccurring thing we found throughout Ironbridge strangely.

Who would have thought tiles could be so interesting. Great place to explore the history of tile making and their design. The museum was well set out with a great cafe, very tempting gift and seconds shop and friendly, helpful staff.

We spent a lovely 3-4 hours visiting the Jackfield Tile Museum. After about 40 minutes looking at the whole host of impressive tiles on show in the museum (easy to spend so much more time here) we decided to head over to the tile painting...More

Found the museum more interesting than I expected, and the exhibits are well thought out. It would have been good to have more interactive exhibits, but perhaps visiting on a Sunday morning wasn't the best timing! Worth going in the week when the resident artists...More

Didn't know what to expect but the museum was far more interesting than we thought it would be. Very interesting to find out about the history of tiles in the area. The John Scott exhibition was incredible - amazing what one person had managed to...More

An interesting museum with some beautiful examples of how people use to tile their homes/work places. Their are some old tiles/mosaics and the private collection of a life long collector. Nice to see but does not talk long to look around.
