Paid my first visit here today and was immediately struck by how friendly everybody was. There is a great little 'Whistle stop' café, serving light bites, snacks and main meals in either a restored dining coach or at one of the numerous outside tables. The...More

My father in law has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer, and everybody at the railway went well above and beyond to make his visit this morning truly memorable. It's a wonderful piece of history and well worth a visit!

I thought £30 was quite expensive for our brief visit. Luckily the Easter bunny was there handing out good quality eggs and entertaining the children. The actual steam ride was very short with numerous stops. Won’t be recommending this unfortunately.

This little know place is worth a visit. Take the Grandchildern and your little ones. Pop into the carriage for an old fashioned cuppa. The volunteers need your support. I had my tea there when I visited. A trip down memory lane with the Engines....More

I loved ken this place. It’s quite small and the train trips are short. It’s not too expensive but I wish they had more steam trains running
