The Arboretum is a place to go if you want to walk around in an extremely peaceful atmosphere. If you have any history of family who have died in the wars it is a place to gain information. The staff were very helpful.

This place is fantastic to visit in the Autumn. The colours are incredible. The park also has an interesting history and some very impressive Victorian buildings. It is worth going to look at the original entrance from the outside as it is one impressive gatehouse!

It's so nice to see that money has been spent on the Arboretum to tidy it up. It looks as it should, and when the Gate-House, and the Square outside the Park are tidied up, it will be a wonderful area and a tribute to...More

The park is worth going to for it's history. It is a case of faded glory, you now have to watch out for motorbikes but there are some benches and some nice community activities happening which are run from the park

This was the first public park in England. It has beautiful old trees, and well kept floral borders. There is a bandstand sadly not used anymore. Lots of rides for the children to enjoy. Tarmac paths so you can walk all around the different areas...More

beautiful park and open space but spoilt by the low-lifes that frequent it. Wouldn't want to be here on my own!
