From every direction this is a park you will enjoy visiting. There are slopes and river-side walks...all the way into Derby city centre. The park feels spacy and on the high edge the trees are mature, with great floral displays on the bushes. Darley Abbey,...More

Rio loves it. Lots of sniffs and other dogs to chat to. And on warm days a nice big river to swim in.

This is a lovely place for dog walkers or strollers. There is a nice cafe with toilets at the Darley Abbey end with hot drinks and snacks. Always a pleasant park at any time of the year.

A nice taste of the country within the city centre of Derby, plenty to see along the river, rowing boats , wildlife, fauna and a great little inexpensive cafe.

A pleasant local park that would suit families and those looking for a relaxing time. On a warm May day it was very busy. One part had a cricket match being played.

This time of year with good weather (a rare treat) this park is a beautiful place to visit for a nice stroll along the river, its a pleasure to visit with ice cream at the end from the shop, well worth a visit.
