Highly recommend hiring an E-Bike and cycling through Darley Park- it was one of the highlights of my time in Derby! Absolutely stunning views and a nice cafe stop up the hill.

Lovely park .Get an ebike here, lots of people do this. Great chips at the cafe and fabulous cricket at the cricket club. Nice circular walk Darley abbey to railway bridge and back.

A wonderful open space with a wide range of environments. From the riverside to the woods, the open spaces to the tended gardens, Darley Park is just fabulous.

Nice place to visit. Cafe typically English food but can make a good coffee. Dogs are welcome and often seen sharing cheese on toast with their owner - love it too.

The only shop I know there is the cafe, so probably not. I think there's a garden centre near Markeaton Park, which is a mile or two away.
