Ideal for dog walkers, families, or people taking exercise be it near the city centre or out nearer to the rugby club & Darley Abbey. With walks by the river, a weir, cricket ciub, & a few places to take a well earned drink.

Regular dog walk for us. Beautiful scenery. The cafe is great - really good bacon cobs. There's The Abbey pub too - excellent beer.

The only shop I know there is the cafe, so probably not. I think there's a garden centre near Markeaton Park, which is a mile or two away.
