We saw a short pantomime in the studio part of the theatre. It is a very small venue and the seating is such that everyone can have a good view of the stage. It was ideal for children to watch the play. The three actors...More

We had a wonderful time experiencing this amazing production of Hansel & Gretal. The cast are such talented actors & musicians. Also, the set design & costumes were incredible! Parking in the Basement of Intu shopping Centre is 2 mins walk away. Don't miss it!

Not been to Derby Theatre before. Travelled by bus and the theatre was only 5 minutes away. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Seats were comfortable and we enjoyed the bar area in the interval.

Throughout the Eighties we continually had season tickets to this theatre. Increased prices, repeating shows with lack of variation at that time, plus the arrival of a family brought our regular visits to a halt. Having regained the theatre going habit in Lichfield, we were...More

The Theater was average, I remember watching 'Christmas Carol' and it was amazing to watch. The cast acted very well and was enjoyable to watch. However, when they tried to do 'Alice In. Wanderland', 'Peter Pan' and 'Jungle Book', they've failed miserably on acting those....More

Our first time at Derby Theatre and one that we’ll definitely return to, despite the 90 minute drive. Great location, easy parking, good bar and venue staff and best of all, really well-tiered seating. Seems to me everyone had a great view of the stage....More
