Visited on a Saturday afternoon, what an interesting place. Saw the reviews on trip advisor and so glad we went. Lovely stepping back in time ,even in the bathrooms that the public can use. A hidden gem.

Its like going back in time, when you visited your grandparents. A great place for the old and young.

A surprising find in Friar Gate. From the outside it doesn't look particularly appealing but very interesting. Enthusiastic volunteers.

We walked here from the centre not far. Lovely welcome from the staff member. We spent over an hour looking round. Some very interesting stuff. The Agatha Christie section was brilliant. Well worth a visit

A great place to show the children some history. The house shows the furniture that the house had in its days, the top floor has an activity for the children to play. The old card theatre and glove puppets
