I love this place and always call in when in Derby. It is a little gem. The paintings are amazing. My favourite is The Alchemist. But there’s plenty of others which amaze too. There’s also lots of exhibits that children will love, especially the prehistoric...More

A small but interesting museum. Pleasant cafe with good quality food on offer at reasonable prices. Friendly volunteers on hand to help.

Great local attraction. Free entry, we gave a voluntary donation. Suited to all ages. Pleasant experience for all the family. Will definitely visit again-as the exhibitions are changed regularly

This beautiful public library and art gallery is on The Stand in Derby. Its looks better from the Stand than the impression given in the main photograph of this entry.

Surprisingly interesting museum and art gallery. Spent a happy hour here viewing all the exhibits. Cafe looked promising but we didn’t have time to visit it. Worth seeing and it’s free.
