What a really beautiful Church this is. The inside space is huge but very welcoming as well as calm. I understand there was a major refurbishment a few years back and although this introduced some more modern elements the wonderful older features have not been...More

Traditional, authentic and appropriate reverence yet with a modern, contemporary and most important of all social outreach to the community. Located bang in the centre of the town, St Peter's offers peace and outreach to everyone. Its range of activities is to be admired and...More

Well worth a visit in the centre of Harrogate. The outside looks ordinary but the modern glass side entrance emphasises the modern look inside.

St. Peter's is Harrogate's Town Church. The Exterior is much like many others of its age, but the interior really is something else. Tall decorated arches flank the Nave. whilst the Chancel creates powerful elegance.

What a lovely church with lots of ancient carvings and beautiful stained windows. Recent renovations have revealed lovely unusual red and grey stonework similar to Moorish architecture found in Spain which make it a very attractive Church to visit. The elders of the church do...More

A lovely medium sized Church. Always something to look at if not attending a service. Good location in center of Harrogate.

One of two amazing churches in Harrogate. This might be the lesser of the two but well worth a look around.

As one might expect in the relatively new town of Harrogate, St Peter’s only dates from 1876 when it was consecrated to meet the needs of the fast growing town. It is a rather splendid looking church and the view of the tall chancel arch,...More

Mildly interesting historic church in the town centre. We didn't stay long as the ambience was being totally destroyed by a guy using a very noisy hoover.

It was only built about 150 years ago. In the Norman style, with square tower added a few years later. Beautiful church, lovely interior with stained glass windows.
