Spofforth pay and play golf course is a lovely course, with well maintained fairways and greens. At £10 for 9 holes or £15 for 18 it’s great value for money. 1st nine is flatter and less demanding but still a good challenge, then the back...More

This was my first proper nine holes of golf having played the Repton course at Rudding Park several times. It was perfect for a beginner. Wide fairways and very few bunkers. The greens were well maintained and it was quiet. As a novice it was...More

The course is excellent value for money at £17 for a Saturday afternoon's golf. The back nine is more picturesque than the front nine, but all holes are interesting and challenging. The course is well-maintained with fast, true greens and well mown fairways. Don't expect...More

Turn up, pay £15 get started. Pretty good value all in all. The back 9 is more interesting. It's worth a visit.

If you're looking for something a little different try this one. A little unique on how it's run, but that doesn't mean its wrong. Don't expect a bar of fancy lounge - if all you need is good fairways reasonable greens and a challenge try...More

Good back 9, well looked after greens and value for money but it closes far too early...... No twilight golf just seems bizarre at this time of year

After a lengthy absence from golf, a friend and I decided to re-boot our golf and the local 'pay and play' at Spofforth seemed to be a good venue. We weren't wrong. We've played most local courses, and been members at a couple, but this...More
