Five of us visited on a Saturday afternoon when it was quite quiet. There’s not a huge amount to see but it’s only £4 per person. One of my highlights was the building itself.

To find out how Harrogate came to be famous for it's waters, spa, etc., a visit to the Pump Room is a must. A very knowledgeable and interesting guide made the visit even better.

A facinating insight into the history of Harrogate as a spa town. Anne Harvey, the curator was very knowledgable and helpful explaining all the fine details of this place.

I appreciate that Harrogate are trying to spread its history and make money off it but it could have been better. Walked around for 20 minutes feeling very amused and confused paying £16 for the privilege. There should not be a museum, a small museum...More

Harrogate provide so many amazing sites and features. There is a royal pump room in Bath and Edinburgh but I don't know of another. This is a museum created in the actual pump room. You see development of water and baths with story boards and...More
