Ripley castle is more of a starlet home. Really well looked after. Wonderful paintings and furniture. The grounds are majestic and again attention to detail. The entrance fee is reasonable and the car park was free. Well preserved history for the future.

We went on a lovely day. The guide was really interesting really engaged up with the fascinating and amusing history of the family. We also really enjoyed the walk around the gardens, the gift shop and the café. Well worth a visit.

Had a lovely peaceful walk arround the lake here and the gardens , missed the last tour of the house :( , but lovely wark arond the lake saw several herons various ducks and geese , a few fallow deer , really lovely so quiet...More

From the outset we found the village of Ripley a hidden treat. The castle had a warm and welcoming tea room with friendly staff. The castle visit was £10 per person for the guided tour (which is the only way to see inside the castle)....More
